  • TLAW is pleased to offer public interest lawyers a reduced registration rate for the Conference. This rate is extended to attorneys who practice in government organizations (e.g., the Tennessee courts) or public interest organizations (e.g., Legal Aid).

TLAW Empowerment Conference 2017:         Women Who Win!

TLAW’s 2017 Empowerment Conference will provide a full day of networking, continuing legal education, and career development for attorneys of all ages and practice levels from across Tennessee. If you're already registered, you can access the CLE materials for the Conference online here. Please print a hard copy, if you desire, before the Conference. 

The Conference will kick off with a Cocktail Welcome Reception on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The reception is co-hosted by TLAW, ABA, and TBA.

The Cocktail Reception is open and free to all Empowerment Conference registrants, but a RSVP is required.  Guest tickets are available for purchase for $25.

Both the Reception and Empowerment Conference will be held at the Law offices of Waller, 511 Union Street, Suite 2700 in Nashville, TN 37219. 

Limited parking is available in the Nashville City Center building (which houses First Tennessee Bank) for a fee. Please enter the garage from Union Street (behind the Tennessee Performing Arts Center). Alternate parking at guest expense is located at:

•  The 6th Avenue North surface lot, adjacent to Waller building

•  Nashville Public Library or McKendree Garage, 6th Avenue North between Church and Commerce Streets

•  The Hermitage Hotel, valet parking at 6th Avenue North
